WHO WE ARE
Visit Duluth, the city's convention and visitor's bureau, is Duluth's only officially recognized destination marketing organization. Chartered in 1935, as a non-profit corporation, we represent over 400 businesses that make up Duluth's tourism industry. We are dedicated to promoting the area as one of America's great vacation and meeting destinations while providing comprehensive, unbiased information to all travelers.
Visit Duluth, the official destination marketing organization, exists to attract the maximum number of visitor dollars into Duluth's economy. Visit Duluth establishes new initiatives to increase tourism, visitors and conventions, and further enhance the awareness of the industry.
Our job is to create and capitalize on opportunities to support, promote and expand tourism within our city in an environmentally conscious manner. By doing this, Visit Duluth helps ensure the city's financial base by creating jobs, bringing outside customers to local businesses and increasing our community's quality of life.
Visit Duluth operates through an internal line of leisure travel marketing, convention sales, consumer services, visitor information and partner services. Most importantly, Visit Duluth's thirteen full-time employees work in cross-functional teams to get the job done by strategically promoting the city regionally, nationally and throughout the world. Additionally, part time staff members work with conventions, events, and at our information center at 225 W. Superior St., Suite 110 inside the Holiday Center.
