Happy Wednesday! Halloween is TOMORROW! And there are a ton of different options when it comes to Trick-or-Treating – this is your weekly blog, Halloween Special! Here’s a look at some of the candy-filled, spooky fun you can find in Duluth:
TONIGHT (Wednesday) October 30
Zoo After Dark at the Lake Superior Zoo: Experience the zoo like never before! This special event is for ages 13+ and allows you to explore the zoo grounds on a self-guided flashlight tour. Hours are 6:30-8:30pm tonight. Get tickets.
Superstition Tour at Fairlawn Mansion: Tour the mansion with flashlights and learn about ghosts of Fairlawn! Please bring your own flashlight and the tour is not recommended for children 5 and under. First tour begins at 7pm and lasts approximately 30 minutes. More info.
Ghost Tour at the St. Louis County Depot: This is the first of hopefully many more tours to come at the re-branded St. Louis County Depot. Tickets are $10. Reserve your spot here.
THURSDAY, October 31
Malloween at the Miller Hill Mall: Enjoy mall-wide trick-or-treating, a costume contest, and other fun activities in the mall. No masks on those 13 and older and no toy weapons allowed. The fun runs from 4-7pm. Details.
Spook-tacular Halloween Party at the Duluth Children’s Museum: From 3-7pm the Duluth Children’s Museum will host ghostly games, creepy crafts, and a monster mash dance party. Member admission is FREE and guests are welcome at the daily admission rate of $9/person. More information.
Trick-or-Treating at Glensheen Mansion: New this year! The estate will be open for as long as the candy supply lasts, beginning at 5pm. Guests will enter and exit through the Formal Entrance at West Gate. No charge! Details.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Head to the Underground for this annual performance! Shows run Wednesday, October 30 – Saturday, November 2. Tickets.
Gales of November: Celebrate Lake Superior and her power this weekend at the annual Gales of November event, put on by the Lake Superior Marine Museum Association. The two-day event on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2 includes speakers, exhibitors, activities, and auction items, and the Cruise of a Lifetime raffle for a ride on the Edwin H Gott! Register.
