Happy Wednesday! Halloween is one week from today, so you guessed it - we are breaking down where you can get your Halloween fix in this week. Believe me, there is no shortage of candy or costumed-fun ahead:

Saturday, from 9-Noon, Hartley Nature Center’s annual Howl-O-Ween event returns with an all new, all outdoor format! Come dressed in costume and enjoy exploring the trails and outdoor campus near the nature center. Pre-registration is required by calling 218-724-6735. And make sure to register early, as this event will fill up. You can get the details, here.

Sunday, from 10am-3pm, it’s Scarium at the Aquarium! Trick-or-treat throughout the Great Lakes Aquarium, enjoy games, prizes and special programming. Children in costume (ages 12 and under) admitted free with paid adult. More info.

Immediately following the fun at the aquarium, head to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum for their annual Kids Halloween Carnival on Sunday from 3-6pm! They’ll have games, a cupcake walk, bouncy house, and other fun activities. Don’t forget your costume!

Heading to actual Halloween – on Wednesday from 4:30-7pm, trick-or-treat at Miller Hill Mall! It’s Malloween and you can bring your family in costume for an evening filled with trick or treating and a costume contest. And shopping!

Also Wednesday, trick-or-treat to each area of the Duluth Children’s Museum for their Spooktacular, which runs from 3-7pm. Details, here.

And from 6-8:30pm, head to the Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium at UMD for their free Halloween event. Costumes are encouraged! There will be candy, hands-on activities, night sky viewing with telescopes, and free Planetarium shows geared towards kids. More info.
