The atmosphere at Grandma’s Sports Garden is electric and unlike any other venue for boxing with dining and a full bar available. Golden Gloves also features some great local talent between the fights so the entertainment is non-stop. The doors open at 5:00 and the first fight starts at 7:00.
Jungle Boy Boxing Gym (formally known as Horton’s Gym) in Duluth, Minnesota has produced some legendary nationally ranked fighters, including Zach “Jungle Boy” Walters and Andy “KAOS” Kolle, currently the Minnesota middle weight champion and ranked in the world). These pros and many other honed their skills at Golden Gloves boxing events like these Fight Nights at Grandma’s Sports Garden. Witness Duluth’s finest amateur athletes competing for boxing supremacy against the best fighters from competing gyms all over the Midwest.
