SPOTLIGHT ON A MEMBER
Lori Steinbach and Lisa Sundberg, Visit Duluth
Visit Duluth’s Spotlight on a Member for March is Lake Superior Concierge, Inc. Owner, Kim Lindstrom answered our questions.
Lake Superior Concierge, Inc opened its doors in March of 2006. Owner, Kim Lindstrom, chose downtown Duluth because of its central location and easy access for her customers.
Lake Superior Concierge, Inc is geared toward busy people who need a helping hand with everything from serving as a personal shopper to scheduling oil changes. Kim is looking to grow the “everyday tasks” portion of the business in coming years. Other services include wedding planning and special occasions.
As a certified wedding consultant, she will decorate a hotel room, book side by side couple’s massage and assist with details to ease the stress of planning a wedding. Kim offers services for special occasions such as birthdays, reunions and meetings as well. “My favorite memory is decorating a mountain villa on Spirit Mountain for a surprise 84th birthday party,” Kim said. “The mother was very happy and shocked that her children did it.”
Lake Superior Concierge joined Visit Duluth for increased exposure and she had heard great things from other members about the benefits, especially referrals.
Kim was born and raised in Duluth and loves how the city really comes alive when there’s a big event in town. She is looking forward to Grandma’s Marathon and her first viewing of the North Shore Inline Marathon.
Thank you Kim Lindstrom for being our spotlight on a member.

“WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT VISIT DULUTH”
“We use the brochure quite a bit at UMD - my department recently handed them out to prospective faculty members as part of a recruiting packet. One of our top candidates is from Pittsburgh, and she told us that the moment she opened the brochure, she wanted to move to Duluth.
I just wanted to let you know that the brochure is a wonderful tool and that it may have helped land us recruit a wonderful candidate.”
Sara F., University of Minnesota Duluth
