Future date: Thursday, August 6 SPOTLIGHT ON A MEMBER Lori Steinbach, Travel Information Manager, Visit Duluth Visit Duluth’s Spotlight on a Member for June is Sir Benedicts Tavern on the Lake. Visit Duluth extends our appreciation to Aura Coppola, for her response. "My husband Antonino and I took over Sir Benedicts Tavern on the Lake in January. We have always loved the place, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity. We are going to keep it exactly the same as when Jack and Barbara Arnold created it 30 plus years ago. All of our soups and desserts are homemade by our general manager Jacqui Bergson. Since my husband Antonino is from Italy, we will be adding a few Italian items such as the porchetta sandwich and Tiramisu, just to name a few. Since this is fairly new for us, it’s exciting to see just how many people really love Sir Ben's. Jack and Barbara did a great job of creating a one of a kind place for many years to come. We joined Visit Duluth many years ago with our ceramic business, Coppola Art Imports. We love being involved with Duluth and can really understand how important tourism is to this beautiful city. Being a part of Visit Duluth has really enhanced our business and we are proud to belong to a great organization for the city and our businesses. We love the Grandma's Marathon. It is always so incredible the amount of people that come into our city from all over the world. And now being at Sir Ben's, we are going to make it a great event all weekend!” Thank you, Sir Benedicts Tavern on the Lake for being our spotlight on a member.
