Sporting Events
From one of the first professional football franchises, to a renowned hockey legacy, Duluth boasts a rich tradition of athletics. It’s no coincidence that Duluth has some of the state’s premier venues for hosting sports tournaments, too. From hockey to softball to soccer, bowling to bocce ball, your teams can play and stay in whatever style they choose. As one of America’s premier getaway destinations, Duluth allows competitors, their families and friends to enjoy their visit beyond the arena or field. And when the competition is over, the fun just begins. Families and friends will love playing in one of our 105 parks, having a great meal, browsing our eclectic selection of shops, visiting world-class attractions, or just relaxing by Lake Superior. What’s more, almost anything they choose is just minutes away.
