Begin your exciting tour at the Lake Superior Zoo, Duluth’s Wild Side. Get up-close and personal with over 400 animals and nearly 200 different species, including Amur tiger, Kodiak bear, genet, Pallas’ cats and more! Be sure to check out the daily animal enrichment schedule, designed to excite both animals and visitors. Explore the zoo any time of year to enjoy waterfalls, bridges, wildlife, hiking trails and more.

Tour Great Lakes Aquarium, North America's only all freshwater aquarium. Twenty different tanks and exhibits showcase over 70 different species of fish, birds, and otters. Also tour the Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium offering videos, documentaries, and dark-sky shows in 360` - full-dome theater format with surround sound. Public shows are offered Friday at 7 pm and Saturday at 2 pm and 7 pm.

Your Duluth experience wouldn't be complete without a visit to Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center. The museum offers film shows, model ships and exhibits featuring commercial shipping activities on Lake Superior and in the Duluth-Superior Harbor.

Complete your discovery tour in Canal Park, the hub of waterfront activity. Stroll the Lakewalk, watch ships as they glide through the harbor, shop in the unique stores and grab a bite to eat in one of the many restaurants.
