Happy Wednesday! It’s the week of the Fourth of July and there is plenty of fun to find this holiday week. And there appears to be a theme - music on the water! Here’s a look at this week’s calendar:
Bayfront Festival Park will be ROCKING tonight with Hairball! If you’ve never been to this show, it’s a “bombastic celebration of arena rock!” The 80s will takeover Bayfront starting at 5:30pm, with the gates opening at 5pm. Tickets are available at the DECC Box Office or through Ticketmaster online.
Also tonight, Glensheen kicks off their July Wednesday night series - Concerts on the Pier! This first Wednesday features Charlie Parr - a Duluth favorite! This is a FREE event and quite popular. With limited parking, it is encouraged to bike, boat, walk, or kayak to the concert. Doors open at 5pm with music beginning at 6.
Thursday is Independence Day and Bayfront Festival Park will be busy for the city’s annual Fourth Fest Celebration! This is a free, family-friendly event with live music, food and craft vendors, and of course, the grand finale - fireworks! Doors open at 4pm. Get all the details, here. Friday, June 5 - Bayfront Festival Park kicks off a full weekend of music. The first ever Bayfront Country Jam gets underway at 5:15pm with Whiskey Trail. Chris Janson, Joe Nichols, and Chase Bryant follow throughout the night. Get tickets.
Saturday, Trampled by Turtles returns to Bayfront Festival Park for a big home show. This is always a popular concert, so get tickets while you can! Doors open at 3pm, with several opening acts taking the stage ahead of TBT beginning at 3:30pm. Details here.
And Sunday, June 7, the music-filled weekend at Bayfront Festival Park finishes up with 311 and Dirty Heads. A mix of rock, rap, reggae, and funk will hit the stage beginning at 4:20pm. Learn more.
