Happy Wednesday! This final week of January has been a mild one and the weather looks pleasant for our 3rd Annual Cold Front celebration on Saturday, but if you’d prefer to stay indoors this weekend, there are plenty of options to do that, too! Here’s a look at some of the fun you can find in Duluth this week:

Steel Magnolias opens at the NorShor Theatre on Thursday, January 30 and runs through Sunday, February 9. This is a love story of six friends is full of humor, heart, and enduring friendship. Learn more and get tickets, here.

It’s a busy few days at the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra. Friday, January 31, enjoy a Backstage Experience with the DSSO, courtesy The Duluth Experience. The night includes craft beer, a gourmet dinner, and a backstage tour during the symphony dress rehearsal – lots of great photo opportunities! Find more information on the The Duluth Experience website.

Then, check out the DSSO in action during their Saturday, February 1 performance, “Obsession: Mendelssohn & Berlioz.” The concert begins at 7pm at DECC Symphony Hall. Sunday, February 2, see the Duluth Superior Symphony Youth Orchestras take to the stage for the 57th annual Lollipop Concert! That performance is at 3pm at DECC Symphony Hall. Get tickets for either performance, here.

Back to Saturday, February 1 for the 3rd Annual Cold Front event at Bayfront Festival Park.
