    Located just minutes from Downtown Duluth, Canal Park, Bayfront Park, the Lakewalk, shopping and many area attractions. Spirit Mountain Campground offers walk-in tenting as well as 73 campsites equipped with fire pits, picnic tables, and electricity. Thirty-nine sites have water hook-ups, and two shower buildings offer 24-hour convenience.

    UMD Recreational Sports Outdoor Program Campground

    Welcome to the walk-in campground in Bagley Nature Area, right on the UMD Campus. This tents-only campground offers six rustic campsites, surrounded by forests. Enjoy hiking on the wood-chipped trails, explore the forests, and discover tent-camping. Close to the Superior Hiking Trail. Parking is at a nearby gravel parking lot. You’ll have to carry your gear into your campsite (no carts are provided and vehicles cannot drive in).
