Skywalk Updates

To follow the guidance of the Governor's Stay at Home Order, the Duluth Skywalk will remain closed until May 4th. The Northwest Passage to the DECC Ramp will remain open weekdays from 7am-7pm, conditions permitting, to accommodate essential workers.

Skywalk is open 7am-7pm M-F.  Closed Sat-Sun.

Lakewalk Construction Update

Construction is taking place along the portion in front of the hotels in Canal Park for shoreline mitigation caused by previous storm events. The area under construction is closed. Access to lighthouse is still available, and you can access the Lakewalk from Gichi-ode' Akiing to Brighton Beach (Kitchi Gammi Park).

MNDOT: Twin Ports Interchange Reconstruction Project 2020-2023

The I-35, I-535, Hwy 53 Interchange in Duluth, also known as the Can of Worms, will be under construction beginning Spring 2020. This project will enhance safety by eliminating blind merges and left exits, replace aging infrastructure, and better accommodate freight movements.
