Parks & Recreation COVID-19 Status
Duluth Parks is actively monitoring evolving public health guidance from local, federal, and state agencies and setting policy accordingly. Pandemic-related policy is intended to enable citizens to continue to use Duluth parks in a manner that will not contribute to increased disease transmission.
Virtual Bulldogs Behind the Scenes

The Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra is excited to announce the launch of a FREE on-demand service DSSO at Home. DSSO at Home is where you'll find links to their latest social media posts, virtual performances from their musicians, and discussions with Music Director Dirk Meyer.

Duluth Dylan Fest Goes Virtual
In lieu of the events that had been slated to run from May 16 through May 24, there will be a number of virtual events to celebrate Duluth’s native son Bob Dylan’s 79th birthday on May 24.

COGGS Spring Member Drive Gives Back
Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores (COGGS) is donating 100% of their spring membership drive proceeds to the Entrepreneur Fund. Starting now, and continuing through the month of May 2020, anyone who joins COGGS will have their membership dues donated to support a local business fund.
Sharing Messages with UMD 2020 Grads
Alumni Relations is coordinating an avenue for alumni and friends of UMD to write a brief congratulations message to the 2020 graduates. Through the month of April, they are collecting messages of wisdom, hope, and strength. The messages will be shared during the month of May on their social media channels for students to view.
Pier B Gift Card/Donation Program
In an effort to give back to our community during this time, Pier B Resort Hotel and Silos Restaurant is donating $20 to our local COVID Relief Fund for every $100 in gift cards purchased for Pier B and Silos Restaurant. The local COVID Relief Fund goes towards supporting the well-being of our area’s medical staff, patients, and families that are effected by COVID-19.
Keep Duluth Clean
Mayor Larson invites everyone in the city, as you are safely able to do so, to join us outside your home or wherever you are on Saturday, April 25 for a Keep Duluth Clean Virtual Clean-Up (but at a safe social distance).

The Duluth Playhouse is offering dance classes and workouts every day on their Facebook. Check their Facebook for this week's schedule!
Virtual Beer Fest
The Hygge Hoopla Virtual Beer Fest brings MN craft brewers and owners straight to your living room! Organized by the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild, brewery owners, brewers, and other employees will lead an exploration of 10 beer/seltzer styles and take questions from the audience during this live-streamed fest. Sample along and learn more about the beer you’re enjoying. Tickets are $10 and will grant you access to the livestream and help support the MNCBG throughout the year.
Duluth Zoom Backgrounds
With the current stay at home order, you may find yourself in virtual meetings more often. Duluth Pack Now Making Hospital Gowns
Duluth Pack will now be making protective gowns for healthcare workers. Duluth Pack is partnering with the Michigan-based company Stormy Kromer, which also manufactures outdoor apparel, to help make the gowns.

Lift Bridge Lit Purple

Lifting Lincoln Park
The owners of the OMC Smokehouse, Duluth Grill, Corktown Deli, and Noble Pour, had to lay off 200 people during the shutdown. They've decided to do something big and launch a campaign called Lifting Lincoln Park. They are asking for your help with three things: pre-purchase a copy of the OMC Cookbook to help get people back to work, buy gift cards to support other small businesses, and support Lifting Lincoln Park to give direct help to neighbors.
Burrito Union is running a Free Kids Lunch program, called #FeedTheKids. Any kids (PreK-12) that have been displaced from school can stop by Burrito Union (1332 E 4th St, Duluth, MN 55802) Mon-Fri from 11am-1pm and receive a free to-go lunch.
